His hearing and speech are affected, he suffers from seizures, severe pain all over his body, and from blurred vision and severe headache.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nAbed Rabbo said there is a real concern that this will affect the vital functions of his body organs, such as kidneys, liver and heart, and therefore his life is at risk at any moment.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nAl-Akhras, 49, a father of six, is from the northern West Bank city of Jenin. He was detained on July 27 and slammed with a four-month administrative detention order without any clear charges and based on secret evidence not available even to his lawyers.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nHe immediately went on hunger strike demanding his release from prison.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nAttempts by his attorneys to have him spend the rest of his detention period at a Palestinian hospital have so far failed to yield results with the Israeli High Court insisting to keep him at an Israel hospital while refusing to end his illegal detention.","content_html":"
