Israeli Aqsa nightclub plan denounced
Dr. Taleb Abu Sha'ar, the minister of Awkaf in Gaza, has denounced the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) for allowing the establishment of a nightclub near the holy Aqsa Mosque.
Abu Sha'ar in a press statement on Wednesday lashed out at the nightclub's administration for distributing invitations for the inauguration of the club with photos of the Dome of the Rock alongside dancers.
The minister warned of dangers engulfing the holy site especially after the construction of hundreds of Jewish synagogues around it and the announcement of building a Jewish tourist village underneath it.
He said that the increasing number of tunnels under the Aqsa and the continued excavations under its foundations were meant to demolish the Aqsa and build the alleged third Jewish temple on its ruins.
Abu Sha'ar appealed to the Arab and Islamic countries to support the occupied city of Al-Quds and the Aqsa Mosque and to confront the "rabid" settlement campaigns launched by the IOA.
The IOA is seeking to turn occupied Al-Quds into a Jewish city through forging its history, forcing the migration of its indigenous inhabitants and assaulting its holy Islamic shrines.
