Israel, US trying to weaken Pak Army

Former leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmed on Monday said that the agenda of U.S, India and Zionist regime is to weaken Pakistani army.

Talking to media at Mansura he said India in 1971 used the same agenda and plunged Pakistan in civil war in the end Pakistan lost its eastern part, and current situation of Pakistan is going on the same lines.

He asserted, "We have the example of Arab countries as to how the U.S and Israel destroyed these countries by using the same agenda of civil wars".

Qazi said that the planning of U.S is to take control over the nuclear arsenals of Pakistan, because majority of the Pakistani people are Muslims and they really love Islam, and Western countries don't want to see prosperity in any Islamic country.

Qazi said that the western world wants to convert Pakistan into a secular state.

He added the U.S is trying to peter-out the religious organizations with a strategy, because, it doesn't suit U.S to have presence of any religious person in Pakistan. "Whenever U.S took any step against the country, they always used army because dictators are not answerable to any one and elected leaders have to give the answer to their people", Qazi maintained.

He cleared, "I assure you one thing that our army is again working on the aspiration and dictations of U.S".

He further said, "anyone in the history tried to squeeze the people of tribal areas or Afghanistan, foe itself disintegrate in pieces and in the same way U.S will collapse and split up very soon".

Replying to a question regarding current military operation in Swat Qazi remarked "Pakistani Generals were living in fool's paradise, as they are killing their own masses, if Generals want to fight then they have to support the people of Kashmir till the end of freedom movement," he maintained.

Criticizing the army he added, "The operation of Lal masjid raised anti- army sentiments among the masses and it is a black spot on our army and instead of varying the sentiments, army launched a new operation in tribal areas".

He appealed to the masses to put dignity, otherwise leadership and Generals will work in the same way to please U.S. He was of the view that Punjab being the main province of the country and a large portion of the army is also from this area, so it is a high time for the people of Punjab and army men from Punjab to stand against the leadership to foil the nefarious designs of the enemies of Islam and Pakistan.
