Lawyers and prosecutors from member states of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) started a two-day meeting to review effective judicial and legal avenues for prosecuting the Israeli regime for its crimes and genocide of the Palestinians during the war on Gaza.
 
Several participants in the forum delivered speeches and articles on the latest regional developments and the Israeli atrocities in the Gaza Strip.

Ahmadinejad called for Muslim unity against Zionist regime

"Political, economic and cultural unity of the world of Islam is one of the pillars of the Islamic Republic of Iran's foreign policy," said President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Addressing the second day of the international meeting of 'The Islamic Countries' Prosecutors and International Lawyers' on Wednesday, President Ahmadinejad expressed his pleasure over participation of a host of judiciary officials in the meeting to study one of the most horrible crimes which is taking place in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestine.

IRI Judiciary Chief calls for an Int'l Islamic Criminal Court Service

IRI Judiciary Chief Sayyed Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi called for establishment of an International Islamic Criminal Court for execution of justice, fight against increasing crimes against Muslims and lack of penalty for the crimes.

Shahroudi criticized Israel's approaches including expelling Palestinians from home, extrajudicial killings by governmental terrorism, destroying Palestine's infrastructures, abduction and torture of Resistance members.

Larijani: Iran's Response to Israel's Possible Attack beyond Imagination

Referring to the Zionist officials' acknowledgement that they are not able to confront Iran without Washington's aid, Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani pointed to the US failures against the Iranian nation in the Islamic Revolution and also in the 8-year Iraqi imposed war on Iran, and said, "Those regimes which rely on the US and think they can speak loudly to the powerful Iran should refer to the history."

He lambasted international bodies and the Security Council's silence over Israeli officials' threats against Iran.

Resistance is the only path to victory and causes of Palestine’s nation, said Larijani.

Tehran's Prosecutor General Saeed Mortazavi
Tehran's Prosecutor General Saeed Mortazavi said topics to be reviewed in the conference include establishment of regional and international solidarity and coordination on investigation over organized crimes which endanger domestic security of the world countries such as terrorism, production and smuggle of narcotic drugs and money laundering.

Mortazavi also announced that a draft indictment of the Zionist criminals is provided by the forum's secretariat and will be discussed at the judicial commission.

IRI Prosecutor General Qorban-Ali Dorri-Najafabadi

IRI Prosecutor General Qorban-Ali Dorri-Najafabadi on Wednesday called on the UN Security Council to follow up genocide of Palestinians by the Zionist regime in the Hague-based International Court of Justice. 

He criticized the inaction of international organizations, including the United Nations, towards massacre of defenseless Palestinians.

He further praised the resistance of the Palestinian people against Zionist criminals.

Guinean prosecutor general: Israel committed genocide in Gaza

Guinean prosecutor general urged all judges and prosecutors to pay attention to the case of genocide in Palestine and prosecute those who are accountable for.

He said his country condemned Zionist regime's crimes against the Palestinians since the regime's establishment.

Guinean prosecutor general described the Zionist regime's crimes in Gaza as genocide and said a collective measure was needed to punish Zionist criminals.

Secretary of African-Asian Legal Consultative Organization: Israel must withdraw from all occupied Palestine
 
Secretary of Asia-Africa's legal council Ahmad Mohammad called for withdrawal of Zionist regime from all occupied Palestinian lands.

He also urged the Zionist regime to accept the right of return of Palestinian refugees.

Jordanian lawmaker: Gaza holocaust drew attentions to Israeli crimes

Jordanian lawmaker Amir Fowzi Qassem said Gaza holocaust drew the world's eyes to Zionist regime's crimes against Palestinians and prompted them to work for the trial of Zionist criminals.

The meeting of Islamic countries' prosecutors in Tehran is a move forward in support of the Palestinian people, said Ismail Haniya, the Prime Minister of Gaza-based Palestinian government said.

Tanzanian Justice Minister: Palestinians facing genocide

Tanzanian Justice Minister Hamid Mohammad Hamid said supporters of Zionist regime including France, Britain, and U.S. are accomplices of the regime.

He described Zionist regime's atrocities in Gaza as violation of international laws.

Malaysian judiciary chief expressed regret over exports of weapons to Israeli regime by some countries and said that all supporters of the Zionist regime must be punished.

Acting PLC speaker appreciates IRI's support

Acting speaker of Palestinian legislative council Ahmad Bahr appreciated Iran’s support and said Iran was the most resolute supporter of Palestinians rights.

He said Palestinians will never abandon resistance, adding the Islamic resistance is ready to face any sort of situation in the future.

Hamas is under great pressure to recognize the Zionist regime but it will never yield to the demand, he added.

Sudanese judiciary chief: international courts changed to political tools

Abdul Baset Saleh Sabdrat said unfortunately international courts have turned into political tools to exert pressure against countries that refuse to yield to tyranny and aggressions.

The judiciary chief also praised IRI president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad courageous speech at UN anti-racism conference in which he condemned the Zionist regime as racist.
