Syria: Israel most dangerous enemy

Secretary of IRI's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili emphasized on Wednesday on the need to expand IRI-Syria strategic relations.

In a meeting with the Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem, Jalili reiterated that Tehran and Damascus capacities and capabilities could create an example for regional cooperation.

Appreciating Syria's efforts to promote peace and understanding among Arab countries, Jalili said that in the current situation, developing unity among the regional countries should be considered as a need.

Current developments in the international and regional fields are in favor of the resistance movements, the Iranian diplomat said adding the Zionist regime's aggressive policies have forced their supporters to admit that they should not link their nations' interests to the regime's.

Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem, for his part called for more expansion of relations among Tehran and Damascus.

He described the Zionist regime as the most dangerous enemy of all regional nations and countries and said the idea of resistance has proved that the regime would not be able to impose its policies on the regional nations by hooliganism.
