Gaza martyr toll since ceasefire rises to 1,259
Gaza’s Health Ministry said on Wednesday that one Palestinian whose body was recovered from under the rubble, along with two wounded people, had arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.
In its daily report, the ministry said a number of victims remain trapped beneath the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and Civil Defense crews are still unable to reach them.
It affirmed that the martyr toll since the ceasefire entered into force on October 11, 2025, has risen to 1,259, with 4,148 injuries and 808 bodies recovered.
The cumulative toll from Zionist regime’s assault on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has reached 73,388 martyrs and 174,259 wounded, the ministry added.
