Zionist troops launch widespread raids across West Bank
The Zionist regime’s occupation forces launched a series of raids across several cities and towns in the West Bank early Friday, arresting Palestinians, raiding homes, and firing tear gas canisters amid heightened military activity.
Zionist regime’s occupation forces arrested two young men during a raid on the town of Jaba’, south of Jenin, where soldiers also stormed and searched several homes as part of a broader military campaign in the town.
The Zionist troops also raided the village of Awarta, southeast of Nablus, and the town of Imatin, east of Qalqilya, although no arrests were reported.
In the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, the Zionist troops raided the area surrounding the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, firing tear gas canisters around the hospital and into its courtyards.
The raids extended to Al-Amari refugee camp in Al-Bireh, where Israeli troops deployed throughout several streets while military operations continued in other parts of the governorate.
The Zionist troops also raided the town of Beit Sahour in the Bethlehem governorate. Meanwhile, Zionist troops carried out a large-scale incursion into Qalandiya refugee camp, north of Occupied Jerusalem, deploying heavily throughout the camp.
In the northern West Bank, Zionist regime’s occupation forces broke into the city of Tubas and conducted military operations in several neighborhoods.
The coordinated raids come amid an ongoing escalation across the West Bank, where Zionist troops continue to carry out near-daily arrest campaigns and military incursions, often accompanied by confrontations with Palestinians and tightened military measures.
