Tens of thousands perform Eid prayer at Aqsa Mosque despite Israeli restrictions
Tens of thousands of Muslim worshipers performed the Eid al-Adha prayer on Wednesday morning at the Aqsa Mosque despite Israeli police restrictions and assaults.
The Islamic Awqaf Administration in Occupied Al-Quds said that 140,000 worshippers observed the Eid prayer and Khutba at the Aqsa Mosque this morning.
Worshipers and visitors chanted “Takbeerat al-Eid” (Allahu Akbar) from inside the Mosque’s buildings and courtyards, in a scene that reflected Palestinian steadfastness, devotion, and deep attachment to the holy site.
Meanwhile Zionist regime’s police officers kidnaped a young woman at the Aqsa Mosque’s Hitta Gate after assaulting her and removing her hijab.
They also detained journalist Saif al-Qawasmi as he was inside the Aqsa Mosque, handed him an order banning him his entry to the holy site for one week, and summoned him for interrogation.
Additionally, police forces arrested Islamic Awqaf employee Firas al-Dibs from inside the Aqsa Mosque.
