Terror and assassinations won’t stop Iranian military personnel from defending country

The Leader made the remarks on Monday in a message on the martyrdom of Major General Majid Khademi, the intelligence chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), who was assassinated in a US-Israeli airstrike earlier the same day.

Ayatollah Khamenei expressed condolences over Khademi’s martyrdom, praising the fallen official for his decades of service in security, intelligence, and defense.

The Leader described Khademi’s assassination as part of a recurring pattern following successive defeats suffered by the United States and Israel in their imposed war on Iran.

“Once again, the American–Zionist enemy, having faced repeated failures in its malicious schemes and imposed war against the Iranian nation and its brave fighters, has resorted to its usual tactic of terrorism by assassinating one of the country’s senior figures in the intelligence and security community,” the Leader said in his message.

He emphasized that the steadfast ranks of fighters and those striving on the path of truth in the Islamic Republic of Iran, together with the self-sacrificing Armed Forces, have formed such a strong and unshakable front that acts of terror and violence cannot undermine their mission or ideals.
