Supreme Leader’s Aide Warns Any Attack on Iran to “Boomerang” on Participants
Ali Akbar Velayati, a senior adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, warned that any country taking part in military action against Tehran would face “a boomerang” of repercussions.
“Any participation in military aggression against Iran will definitely return to the participants like a boomerang,” Velayati said.
He suggested that the Persian Gulf would be a focal point for retaliation.
The US and Israel started a fresh round of aerial aggression on Iran in late February, some eight months after they carried out unprovoked assault on the country.
A number of regional countries have allowed their respective soils to be used as launch pads for strikes against Iran since late last month, when the United States and the Israeli regime began their raids against Iran.
In response, Iranian Armed Forces have carried out more than 80 waves of retaliatory missile and drone attacks, codenamed Operation True Promise 4, targeting enemy positions.
“The geography of the Persian Gulf cannot remain without consequences,” Velayati stated.
The advisor added that “events will definitely occur” that would be “to the detriment of those threatening Iran’s national security and stability".
