New Year will mark Iran’s victory over enemies: Speaker Ghalibaf

In a Nowruz message addressed to the Iranian people on Friday, Ghalibaf described the Persian new year as the Nowruz of resistance and sacrifice aimed at strengthening Iran and disappointing its enemies. He said the season of victory for the Iranian nation and defeat of the aggressors is approaching.

Ghalibaf praised the historic sacrifice of Iran’s soldiers and the active participation of the Iranian people in confronting threats, saying their presence helped foil the plans of adversaries.

The parliament speaker also paid tribute to the country’s fallen figures and martyrs, saying the loss of the martyred Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei remains a heavy sorrow for the nation. He described the martyred Leader’s devotion to protecting Iran and resisting enemies as a guiding path for those committed to the country’s future.

Ghalibaf said the leadership of the Islamic Revolution is now in the hands of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, expressing confidence that the country will continue its path toward strength and progress under his guidance.

He also honored the memory of Iran’s martyrs and called on their families to pray for the country’s officials and defenders.

Concluding his message, Ghalibaf emphasized Iran will ultimately emerge from current challenges more powerful, expressing hope that the Iranian people will soon celebrate victory together.
