Rights group: 6,785 Zionist regime’s violations in West Bank and Al-Quds in January 2026

The Palestine Information Center “Ma’ta” (an independent human rights organization) has documented violations committed by the Zionist regime’s military and settlers across the occupied West Bank and Al-Quds in January 2026.

According to a report released Thursday, the total number of recorded violations reached 6,785, resulting in the killing of six Palestinians and injuries to 201 others with varying degrees of severity. The report also recorded 303 shooting incidents targeting Palestinians.

The report detailed that Zionist regime’s forces conducted 1,344 raids and incursions into Palestinian cities, towns, and refugee camps throughout the West Bank, causing widespread destruction to homes and their contents.

Ma’ta also recorded the arrest of 779 Palestinians during these daily raids, as well as the demolition of 273 structures, including 32 completely destroyed homes.

The center further reported the implementation of expansive settlement plans in various areas of the West Bank and Al-Quds, with 61 settlement-related activities, including land confiscations, bulldozing of Palestinian property, construction of new settlement roads, and approvals for additional housing units.

Since the beginning of the genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023, the occupied West Bank, including Al-Quds, has witnessed an escalating wave of Israeli military and settler violence, resulting in the killing of at least 1,110 Palestinians, injuries to nearly 11,000 others, and the arrest of approximately 21,000 people, according to data from Palestinian organizations.
