Human Rights Watch: Israel is committing genocide in Gaza
Philippe Bolopion, executive director at Human Rights Watch, has accused Zionist regime’s forces of committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, stating that the organization has documented numerous crimes committed by the Israeli government against civilians.
In remarks to Al Jazeera, Bolopion noted that the US government has failed to take serious steps to halt atrocities in Gaza. He also highlighted that settler violence in the West Bank has peaked, resulting in the displacement of refugee camp residents.
In a related development, Human Rights Watch earlier declared that the Zionist regime’s government has obstructed the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their lands.
The organization emphasized that the displacement of Palestinians is still ongoing, deeming these actions a crime against humanity committed by the Israeli government.
On the ground, medical sources reported that 24 civilians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza since dawn today, in a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement.
These developments come as Zionist regime’s forces continue to violate the ceasefire deal reached with Hamas, which went into effect last October.
