Index shows global disapproval of Israel due to Gaza genocide

Zionist regime ranked at the bottom of a global branding index for a second straight year, recording its sharpest decline since the survey was launched nearly two decades ago, according to results released Thursday by the BrandIL initiative.

The survey, conducted between August and September 2025, shows Zionist regime’s overall score fell by 6.1 percent compared with the previous year.

Zionist regime’s newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Israelis were increasingly perceived abroad as persona non grata.

The report notes a significant shift between 2024 and 2025, with negative global sentiment extending beyond criticism of the regime to include attitudes towards Israelis, linked to genocidal war on the blockaded Palestinian territory.

Not only is global criticism of Zionist regime on the rise, but more respondents perceive Zionist regime as "illegitimate" and "colonial."

BrandIL also warned of wider economic risks, including falling global trust, declining foreign investment, damage to tourism, and the erosion of Israel’s standing in the international community.

Zionist regime also ranked lowest for perceptions of exports and products, reflecting growing consumer reluctance to buy goods and services associated with the Israeli-occupied territories.

Moreover, products labelled as "Made in Israel" are directly negatively affected, as boycotts continue worldwide.

Zionist regime’s global ranking in research studies and public opinion polls has fallen sharply since October 2023, when it launched a brutal military aggression against the besieged Palestinian territory.

A recent YouGov survey found public support for Israel in Europe at its lowest level in 2025, with fewer than a fifth of respondents in Britain, France, Germany, Denmark, Spain and Italy expressing a favorable view. The survey ran from 12 to 26 May.

In the United States, a Pew Research poll published in April found that 53 percent of Americans now hold an unfavorable opinion of Israel, up from 42 percent in March 2022, before the 7 October 2023.

Another Pew poll showed that the majority of people across the world have a negative view of Israel and prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Views on Israel were mostly negative in 20 out of 24 countries surveyed by Pew between January and April 2025.

While Arab and Muslim countries have long held negative views of Israel, the poll highlighted growing disapproval across Europe and East Asia.

Positive perceptions of Israel are also declining in Western Europe and among younger generations.

Since October 2023, Zionist regime’s forces have martyred about 71,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, in the blockaded Palestinian territory.
