Zionist regime orders demolition of 25 residential buildings in Nur Shams camp
The Zionist regime’s occupation forces have issued a military order to demolish 25 residential buildings in the Nur Shams refugee camp, located in the Tulkarem governorate in the northern West Bank.
In response, Tulkarem Governor Abdullah Kamil issued a statement calling on the international community, human rights organizations, and diplomatic missions to urgently intervene to stop this new military order by the Zionist regime’s army.
Governor Kamil emphasized that the demolition decision is part of the ongoing Zionist regime’s aggression and crimes targeting the Palestinian people in the Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps. He described the move as a systematic campaign of destruction that aims at displacing civilians and erasing their homes, resulting in forced displacement for many residents.
He stressed that these actions are in blatant violation of international law, humanitarian law, and human rights conventions. The governor renewed his demand for immediate international action to halt this continuous assault on Tulkarem and its surrounding communities.
