Hamas slams deadly Israeli strike in Gaza City, calls it “criminal ceasefire violation”

The Hamas Movement has condemned the Zionist regime’s occupation army’s ongoing crimes in Gaza, including Saturday’s airstrike on a civilian car west of Gaza City, as a “deliberate criminal violation of the Trump-brokered ceasefire.”

In a statement on Saturday, Hamas said that “this crime once again confirms that the occupation deliberately seeks to undermine and sabotage the ceasefire agreement through escalating its ongoing violations.”

Hamas held the Zionist regime’s government fully responsible for the consequences of its crimes against the Palestinians in Gaza and its systematic breaches of the ceasefire agreement, including the targeting of Palestinians and the obstruction of humanitarian relief efforts.

Movement called on mediators and sponsors of the agreement to shoulder their responsibilities regarding what it described as Israel’s “blatant ceasefire violations” in Gaza.

It stressed the need for urgent action to restrain the Israeli government, “which is reneging on its commitments under the agreement.”
