70,000 worshipers perform Friday prayer at the Aqsa Mosque
Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed Friday prayer at the Aqsa Mosque despite Zionist regime’s restrictions that blocked dozens of young men from accessing the site.
The Islamic Waqf Department in Al-Quds reported that more than 70,000 worshipers gathered for the Friday prayer at the Aqsa Mosque, dedicating the prayer to the souls of martyrs from Gaza and the West Bank.
According to local sources, Zionist regime’s police forces imposed heavy restrictions on access to the Old City and the Mosque, preventing many young men from praying at the holy Islamic site after checking their IDs.
The Zionist regime’s police also set up checkpoints at Asbat Gate, obstructing the arrival of worshipers at the start of the Friday prayer.
