Zionist army razes house of prisoner Maher Samara in Salfit

The Zionist regime’s occupation army demolished the house of Palestinian prisoner Maher Samara in the town of Bruqin, west of Salfit, on Sunday afternoon, citing his alleged involvement in a shooting operation that killed a Jewish settler.

Local sources reported that Zionist regime’s forces, accompanied by a bulldozer, raided Bruqin and surrounded Samara’s house before beginning the demolition.

This comes just days after the Zionist regime’s army razed the home of the prisoner’s father, following accusations against Maher and his brother Jamil of aiding and abetting the attack.

The Zionist regime’s army had previously mapped the family’s home in May as a prelude to demolishing it after blaming the Samara brothers for assisting in the operation near the village, which was carried out by their relative, martyr Nael Samara.

Nael Samara was killed by Zionist regime’s gunfire on May 17, 2025, in the “Balata” area of Bruqin. His family’s home was demolished on September 14, 2025.

Maher, Jamil, and Nael Samara were reportedly part of the “Bruqin cell,” which carried out three additional resistance operations in the Salfit area in recent months, including one near the illegal Ariel settlement on March 12, 2025, where a Jewish settler was moderately wounded.
