Hamas slams Israeli evacuation orders for Negev region

In a highly provocative move, extremist Zionist minister Itamar Ben-Gvir personally delivered demolition and evacuation orders to Bedouin families in the Negev region, igniting widespread condemnation.

Hamas, in response, said on Thursday that Ben-Gvir’s brazen move is a clear example of the organized terrorism and arrogance pursued by the Israeli regime.

Hamas called upon the broader community and local organizations to rally in solidarity with Bedouin residents in the Naqab and other areas impacted by these policies.

The movement added that Israel’s bullying of the civilian Bedouin communities, and threatening them with losing their homes, is another link in the chain of systematic abuse and racial discrimination by Zionist regime against Palestinians.

It added that the move also proves that the Zionist regime is a sponsor of extremism and repression in all its forms.

Hamas warned about the consequences of Zionist regime’s continued repressive and fascist policies.

It urged the international community and rights groups to intervene immediately to deter the regime from proceeding with its plans for demolition and displacement of Palestinians’ homes.

Meantime, Israeli forces continue to demolish Palestinian homes in Gaza despite the truce between the fighting sides.

Since October 2023, Zionist regime’s shelling and airstrikes have continued to level Palestinian homes, hospitals, and water networks all across Gaza, leaving the Palestinian territories' infrastructure in ruins.

Also, Palestinians in Gaza still face severe shortages of food, water, medicine, and other essential supplies due to Israeli forces keeping crossings closed and imposing restrictions on what enters the Strip.

Gaza's Health Ministry puts the martyr toll of the Zionist regime’s genocidal war at over 68,875.

The US-brokered ceasefire came into effect on 10 October. However, the Israelis have committed more than 200 violations of the ceasefire agreement, according to the director of Gaza's Government Media Office.
