A Canadian writer, senior journalist told Qodsna:
Nasrallah and Sinwar, ‘courageous charismatic’ leaders

Eric Walberg told Qodsna that Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Yahya Sinwar were courageous and principled Muslim and charismatic leaders whose martyrdom will remain in our minds forever.
Tehran, Qodsna – Gaza, after two years of relentless resistance, has become a symbol of humanity’s awakened conscience. What we are witnessing today in this land marks the beginning of a new chapter of victory for a nation whose sacrifices have reshaped the balance of power in the region and the world, challenging the military and intelligence apparatus of the Zionist occupation regime.
On the second anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Storm. The Zionist regime has not achieved any of its declared goals and has so far been unable to destroy Hamas or free the hostages. The Zionist regime has martyred more than 67,000 innocent people during this period.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah marked first anniversary of the assassination of its former secretary-general Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
Nasrallah was martyred on September 27, 2024 in a Zionist regime’s air strike in a southern suburb of Beirut that used American-made bunker buster bombs.
The Lebanese Resistance continues to stand as a supporter of the Palestinian Resistance. The master of the martyrs of Palestine, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, along with senior Hezbollah commanders, were martyred in the path of jihad and resistance.
As you know, a day after Operation Al-Aqsa Storm on October 7, 2023, and the Zionist regime’s full-scale attacks on houses and medical centers in the Gaza Strip, Hezbollah in a coordinated measure with Palestinian resistance group Hamas started targeting the military bases of Israel in the north of the occupied Palestine.
Palestine and all Resistance supporters consider the martyrdom of Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah to be a tremendous loss for Palestine, Lebanon, the entire Ummah, and the entire Axis of Resistance.
A Canadian writer, senior journalist and political expert Eric Walberg, talked with Qods News Agency (qodsna) in an exclusive interview.
The interview comes as follows:
Qodsna: How do you evaluate the Gaza war, which has lasted two years? How do you see the future of the war? Do you believe that Israel has committed genocide and war crimes?
Walberq: So far, I am overwhelmed with awe at how Palestinians have held out against the onslaught of Evil. The Zionist regime indeed has not achieved any of its declared goals, nor have the remaining hostages been freed. But that seems not to matter to Netanyahu, who is staking everything on the power of world Jewry to keep the US dollars and weapons flowing in as he reduces Gaza to rubble and goes ahead with ethnic cleansing, determined to force all Gazas into exile in Arab countries or other willing servants of Evil.
Trump has made the US party to Evil, ignoring world opinion. Strange that he craves a Nobel Prize yet seems to think this can be awarded to him despite his genocidal lust, his crass materialism, his increasing inability to achieve his goals through one misguided policy after another. I fear for the world as the forces of Evil attack viciously the forces of Good -- Palestine, Iran, the world masses protesting in support of Palestine every day. It seems it's quite possible to commit a genocide in full view of the world if it done by Jews. Jews have ascended to virtually complete control of world politics, pursuing wars of conquest and destruction backed by the still-reining global superpower the US. The world has never seen such a triumph of Evil. As Netanyahu loudly threatens to attack Iran again, I pray for Iran to stand up to this, to expose Israeli spies within, and for other Muslim countries and non-Muslims to join in this last-ditch effort to save humanity.
Qodsna: Yahya Ibrahim Hassan Sinwar the Hamas leader who has been martyred on 16 October 2024 by Zionist regime’s patrol in the Gaza Strip at the age of 61. How do you describe the personality of Yahya Sinwar?
Walberg: Yahya Sinwar was an equality courageous and principled Muslim and charismatic leader whose martyrdom will also remain in our minds forever. I can still see the drone-produced image of him sitting, mortally wounded, defiantly throwing a stone towards the killer drone that ended his life.
Qodsna: How do you describe the characteristic and personality of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah?
Walberg: Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was a courageous and principled Muslim and charismatic leader whose martyrdom will remain in our minds forever. Unfortunately, Evil is alive and prospering in the Holy Land and Israel's concentrated evil genius has given Evil an Oscar winning performance as Most Outstanding Evil of the century, with its massive bombing of Beirut and southern Lebanon, killing the leadership of Hezbollah, and with exploding pagers killing thousands of heroic fighters and innocent women and children. I still can't let myself feel the full horror of Israeli acts of violence and treachery since 10/7/2023.
