Yemeni ballistic missile hits several sensitive Israeli targets

The Yemeni army says it has conducted a fresh anti-Israel operation, hitting several sensitive targets in the occupied Yaffa region with a multiple-warhead hypersonic Palestine 2 ballistic missile.

The Yemeni Armed Forces said on Thursday night that the operation was carried out in response to the Zionist regime’s aggression against Yemen and its ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.

The Yemeni forces call on all civilian and military companies and vessels existing in the theater of operations in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, or transiting through them, to identify themselves and reveal their identities.

The forces stressed that they will carry out more operations at an escalating pace in defense of the country, and in support of Gaza until the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian territory ends and its siege is lifted.

Otherwise, they will be subject to targeting, and they will bear full responsibility.

The new operation came after a fresh Israeli aggression targeted residential neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure in Yemen's capital, killing at least eight people and injuring 142 others.

In light of the worsening genocidal war in Gaza that started in October 2023, Yemeni forces executed a strategic maritime blockade intended to obstruct the delivery of military resources to Israel while urging the global community to address the dire humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Concurrently, they conducted multiple missile and drone attacks on key targets located in the Israeli-occupied regions, demonstrating their support for the Palestinians in Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have stated unequivocally that they will continue their operations until Israel puts an end to its ground and aerial assaults in Gaza.

Zionist regime has martyred at least 65,208 Palestinians, mostly women and children, in the besieged Gaza Strip since October 2023, according to the health ministry of Gaza.
