Intelligence minister: Iran has identified 189 Israeli scientific, military experts

Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence has announced new details from a vast cache of classified documents previously obtained from Zionist regime’s military and nuclear programs.
According to Intelligence Minister Esmaeil Khatib, the files include the full names, personal details, addresses, and professional links of 189 nuclear and military specialists tied to Zionist regime’s weapons projects.
The Iranian minister said the list is still being expanded as Iranian analysts continue to process the material.
The details were revealed in a documentary named “Spider’s Lair,” broadcast Wednesday night on Iran’s national television.
The minister said the feature presentation describes how the Iranian intelligence apparatus obtained the cache of information, including a list of researchers, scientists, and senior managers of weapons projects, among them American and European scientists involved in related programs.
He said Iranian intelligence operatives carried out one of the most complex multilayered operations, penetrated deep into the hidden vaults of the regime and obtained its secret information in nuclear, military, intelligence, and scientific fields.
Khatib said the trove also contains precise information on sensitive dual-use military and scientific sites.
“In addition, there are documents showing official influence exerted by Israeli officials and American senators on the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and their receipt of information about our peaceful nuclear program.”
The minister said during the 12-day conflict of June, some of these facilities were targeted by Iranian missile units after their coordinates were extracted from the documents.
Khatib said the disclosure was only a fraction of the material obtained.
However, the minister said, even this limited release has turned a page in the history of the regime’s concealments and its supporters, and has brought an end to its “nuclear ambiguity.”
He said a considerable number of employees of the regime’s nuclear institutions, military bodies, and even ordinary citizens cooperated with Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence in obtaining this mass of documents and transferring them from the regime’s layered security systems into Iran.
“There were two main motives for this cooperation: first, financial incentives and payment; and second, deep hatred toward the regime’s corrupt and criminal prime minister, which led to acts of revenge against him.”
The minister has pledged to release further details in stages.
The original disclosure of the trove came in early June 2025, when Iran’s national television reported that Tehran had obtained a “vast quantity of strategic and sensitive information and documents” from Israel, including files related to its nuclear facilities and defense plans.
At that time, officials described it as a “treasure trove” of intelligence, but they did not release the details.
Iranian officials say the intelligence operation yielded millions of pages of data on Israel’s past and ongoing weapons projects, nuclear reprocessing programs, and international collaborations.
In June, Iran carried out multiple missile strikes on the regime’s sensitive military and nuclear sites, including the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, one of Israel’s premier scientific and research hubs.
