Resheq: The world’s recognition of Palestine is a political and moral victory
Senior Hamas official Ezzat al-Resheq has said that the successive international recognitions of the State of Palestine represent a political and moral victory, and a fruit of the Palestinian people’s steadfastness and great sacrifices.
In a statement on Monday, Resheq said that such recognitions reflected the Zionist regime’s occupation’s growing isolation, the failure of its narrative, and the world’s support for the justice of the Palestinian cause.
“A free Palestine will remain an undeniable truth, no matter how much the occupation tries to distort it or silence its voice,” Resheq underlined.
The Hamas official urged the international community to follow through on this step by putting real pressure ending the occupation and Israeli crimes, and to turn their recognitions into practical measures that extract the Palestinian people’s rights and fulfill their aspirations for liberation and independence.
