Iran’s president, Parliament speaker blast Israel’s ‘terrorist attack’ on Yemen

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf have strongly condemned the recent Zionist regime’s aggression against Yemen, which led to the martyrdom of Yemen’s prime minister and several senior officials.
In a message, President Pezeshkian expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmad Ghaleb Al-Rahawi as well as several ministers.
“The terrorist attack by the Zionist regime against Yemen, which resulted in the martyr of the prime minister and several senior officials, once again exposed the cruel and criminal nature of the group ruling the occupied Palestinian territories,” he said.
Similarly, Qalibaf sent a message of condolence on the tragic event, saying, “The martyrdom of the prime minister of the friendly and brotherly nation of Yemen, Ahmad Ghaleb Nasr Al-Rahawi, along with several ministers of the country’s revolutionary government, in a terrorist and aggressive attack by the Zionist regime, once again exposed the vile and criminal nature of this regime in committing such atrocities.”
He said that the cowardly act, carried out at the height of Yemen’s full-scale resistance against the Israeli regime, is a blatant crime against humanity.
“It targeted the legitimate political leadership of a nation under the pretext of defending the oppressed people of Palestine and their struggle for freedom. This act stands as yet another documented example of the inhumane crimes and global threats posed by this regime,” the Parliament speaker added.
The Zionist regime’s airstrike on Thursday, which also left several senior ministers wounded, marks a significant escalation in Israel’s ongoing military aggression against Yemen.
The Ansarullah government was holding a routine workshop to assess its activities over the past year when it was targeted by the Zionist regime’s jets.
