Eight humanitarian security volunteers killed northwest of Gaza

According to Ash-Shifa Hospital, eight of those martyred and five injured were transferred there following an aerial attack targeting volunteers securing aid convoys in that area.

These repeated attacks targeting civilian volunteers, who play a crucial role in delivering aid, are viewed by human rights organizations as part of a deliberate strategy to impose mass starvation and humiliation.

The Palestinian Ministry of Interior and National Security strongly condemned the attack.

The Ministry asserted in a statement that the Zionist regime’s forces are intentionally engineering hunger by targeting aid distribution protectors.

The statement added that Zionist regime not only attacks tribal and civilian aid protection teams but also enables looters, intercepting aid trucks, looting their contents, and selling supplies on the black market at exorbitant prices. This thwarts the fair distribution of aid to those in desperate need.

The Ministry observed that these systematic, targeted killings of volunteers are part of a broader tactic designed to destabilize the aid mechanism in Gaza. It emphasized that Israel does not merely tolerate but actively seeks to disrupt any effective system of humanitarian aid delivery.

The Ministry called on the international community and all relevant organizations to pressure Zionist regime to allow aid to reach its rightful recipients. It particularly urged empowered access for UN agencies, especially UNRWA, citing its long-standing expertise in humanitarian operations.

In concluding, the Ministry warned that silence on these attacks equates to complicity in Israel’s starvation strategy, a campaign that continues to prey upon Palestinians, especially children, on a daily basis.
