Hamas urges West Bank youth to escalate resistance after Qabatiya assassination

The Hamas Movement has called on resistance fighters across the occupied West Bank to intensify their resistance and confront the Zionist regime's occupation and settler militias, following the assassination of a Palestinian fighter on Monday.
In a statement, Hamas affirmed that “the policy of assassinating resistance fighters will not weaken our resistance nor the resolve of the free people of the West Bank.”
The statement referred to the killing of Yusuf Imad al-Aamer, who was martyred after a firefight with Israeli occupation forces at an agricultural facility in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.
Hamas condemned what it described as the ongoing campaign of “assassinations, arrests, and Nazi-like crimes” carried out by the occupation army and its “heavily armed settler gangs,” which it said operate under the protection of far-right minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
The Movement stressed that such attacks only deepen the resolve of young Palestinians to resist. “These assassinations will only fuel the determination of our rebellious youth to confront and resist the occupier,” the statement said.
Hamas also urged Palestinians across the West Bank to support resistance fighters, calling on communities to stand by their side and on youth to escalate their resistance actions.
