Israel, a terrorist state/ Iran defended its sovereignty

Tehran (Qodsna)- The Zionist regime launched an all-out aggression on Iranian soil on June 13, striking various military and nuclear sites and assassinating top-ranking military commanders and nuclear scientists, as well as ordinary civilians.

The Iranian Armed Forces, in response, pounded the regime and its military and industrial infrastructure, using new-generation missiles that pierced through Israel's multilayered anti-missile system and hit their designated targets.

The United States inserted itself into Zionist regime’s war against Iran, bombing three of the Islamic Republic’s key nuclear sites.

Zionist regime and United Sates blatantly violated UN Charter in attack against Islamic Republic of Iran.

The martyr of more than one thousand Iranians has been confirmed in Zionist regime’s attacks on Iran. More than half of the victims were ordinary citizens and non-combatants.

Zionist regime unilaterally halted its aggression on Iran after US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire, which, according to his former advisor Steve Bannon, Tel Aviv had to accept to “save” itself as the aggression it launched exceeded its capabilities.

Many experts and international bodies have condemned recent Israeli and U.S. strikes on Iran, calling them a violation of the United Nations Charter and a threat to regional and global stability.

On this side, Qods News Agency interviewed with Fra Hughes, a journalist, author, and activist from Belfast.

The interview comes as follows:

 Qodsna: Iran reserves right to defend itself legitimately. What is your take on Iran’s punitive response to Israel and U.S, especially in terms of international laws?

Fra Hughes: Iran as a sovereign nation was unilaterally attack by the Zionist regime in an unprovoked pre meditated assault that was designed to ignite further regional aggression and instability in the furtherance of the racist fascist supremacist designs of both the " greater Israel project" and the continuance of western imperialism to control the Levant, the Umma and the resources of the region.

The Iranian response was proportionate, steadfast and effective. While Israel and the USA continue to murder, massacre and sanction their self-designated enemies outside of the structures of International law as and when it suits them, Iran and the axis of resistance continue to work within the framework of the Geneva Convention adhering to international agreements and norms ,unlike the Zionist regime and it's western sponsors who bomb civilians ,hospitals, schools, food aid centers and ambulances, those suffering under this terrorist provocation respond by targeting military assets, weapons of war and military leaders.

On one hand we have those using immoral and unjustified brutality against those seeking to minimize civilian casualties in the pursuit of preserving innocent life. An immoral blood thirsty lust for regime change meets a moral, steadfast and just opposition.

Firstly, I think we should review the Israeli aggression to date bearing in mind the reason Israel exists is to destroy all resistance to western hegemony in the region. Israel was born through terrorism it continues to exist through terrorism and it is expanding through terrorism. Zionism was a response to European antisemitism, Palestine was a haven from the European pogroms, it was decided by radical Jewish secular nationalists that they would colonize Palestine for their Jewish supremist state, to displace then replace the indigenous population and create a state without Arabs without Christians without Muslims which is in effect a supremist racist sadly now fascist Jewish colonial footprint within the Levant.

Israel created by the British Balfour Declaration during the first world war was designed to destabilize and eventually control the Levant through military might, supplied by the west as a European white anglo saxon colony to promote western interests in West Asia.

The existence of this foreign interloper in West Asia is the sole reason for every, conflict war the death and destruction that has occurred in the Levant from 1948 and even from the 1920's. If the rogue Zionist regime did not exists, the reasons underlying the destabilization of the region would not exist.

The Zionists have always had superior military fire power in the region. It is not Israel that has the power to destroy people land and economies that powers lies with America, Nato and the EU who use Israel in its proxy wars against those who oppose their desire to plunder the wealth and resources of the region. To dominate intimidate and control sovereign nations for resource theft and exploitation.

The Zionists have superior air power which enables them to destroy military installations of the targeted nations they choose to attack.

Palestinians have no air force no navy no tanks no army, they simply have resistance movements which act under international law using any and all means necessary to liberate themselves from illegal occupation.

They are no match against Israel yet their bravery and samud are testament to human dignity, their courage and faith in fighting despite overwhelming odds is as inspiring as it is legitimate.

The Zionists use violence as a blunt weapon They use barbarity and inhumane slaughter of the innocent as their preferred method of war and subjugation. Surrender or die .They are immoral, they do not distinguish between combatant and non combatant, everyone is a legitimate target from the cradle to the grave, in fact when they murder pregnant women by snipers and destroy grave yards with bulldozers  they go even further.

Israel is a terrorist state, they use terrorism to instill fear in the civilian population as a tactic of war. As long as civil society remains untouched in Israel as it cheer leads death and destruction of its neighbors over 80% of Israelis will continue to support the murder of Arabs Persians Muslims and Christians while sunning themselves on the stolen beaches of Palestine.

Israels neighbors have been systematically weakened by decades of conflict internal and external supported by western intrigue, the financing and arming of insurrection, as in Syria, the internecine fighting in Lebanon, the division of Yemen, the destruction of Libya and Iraq all in an attempt to fracture the axis of resistance to bolster Israel and weaken those opposing imperialism in the region.

Iran defended its sovereignty when it was attacked by the rogue Zionist state given the green light by America in advance.

Israel could not stand alone for more than a few weeks against Iran without Nato EU USA assistance.

As long as Iran stands as a bulwark against western oppression in the region it will remain a target for regime change as has been the case from 1979. While Shia Muslims defend Sunni Muslims there is still hope that the Umma might yet unite.

Qodsna: Palestinians in the blockaded Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank as well as occupied al-Quds have welcomed the Iranian retaliatory operation against the Zionist regime. Resistance movements including Palestinian movements have hailed the Iranian response. How do you assess the impact of Iran's attacks on Israel on the resistance forces?

Fra Hughes: Palestinians from Al Quds to Ramallah from Khan Younis to Jaballiah, welcomed the Iranian response to the Zionist unprovoked attack that murdered nearly 1000 Iranian nationals,  as did many others globally. While the west continues to arm finance and give political cover to this rogue genocidal unhinged entity as long as it is allowed to murder bomb and kill hundreds, thousands tens of thousands of innocent people without accountability, West Asia will never see peace. Which country is next. Egypt Jordan Iraq Lebanon Saudi Arabia? They are all in the target sights of the "greater Zionist project" they are neither immune nor safe in the decades to come. Their subservience now will be their downfall in the future. Surrender or die that is the unspoken motto of Zionist -Jewish supremacism. Not all Jews are Zionists and not all Zionists are Jews I would add, not all Jews are supremacist and not all supremacists are Jews but many are.

Qodsna: Zionist regime continues the war on Palestine, Iran, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria and region. Why is the international community not doing anything to stop the crimes of the Zionist regime?

Fra Hughes: If by the International community you mean the west, then the answer is obvious. While millions in Europe and America march for an end to the genocide. their governments actively support the genocide. America Britain France, Germany all militarily support the rogue genocidal regime in Israel. Each of the countries above have a history of colonialism, of slavery, of massacres, of using starvation as a weapon of war. Israel was created then supported by these states and their unquestionable support for the genocide continues as these imperialist entities want to continue to exploit the resources and wealth of the region.
