Yemeni hypersonic ballistic missile strikes busiest Zionist regime’s airport

Yemen’s Armed Forces have struck the Zionist regime’s busiest airport for the third time in just two days, this time hitting the facility with a hypersonic ballistic missile.
Yemen’s Armed Forces announced carrying out the operation against the Ben Gurion airport near the city of Tel Aviv, in a statement that was delivered by spokesman Yaha Saree on Friday.
“The operation successfully achieved its objective, causing millions to flee to shelters and halting activity at the airport,” the statement added.
Saree identified the projectile used during the operation as a Palestine-2 missile.
The Zionist regime’s Calcalist newspaper said a plane arriving from Dubai had refused to head to the airport following the missile launch, while other aircraft bound for the facility were hovering over the Mediterranean Sea.
Israel Hayom, another Israeli daily, also said the airport had been closed for half an hour due to the operation.
The strike came as part of an aerial blockade that Sana’a has been enforcing against the regime since May.
Throughout the blockade, the Yemeni servicemen have staged numerous solidarity strikes targeting Ben Gurion.
On Thursday too, they had announced carrying out a similar operation against the airport, using a Zulfiqar ballistic missiles as well as unmanned aerial vehicles.
The blockade marked an upgrade to the routine operations that the Yemeni forces had been conducting against sensitive Zionist regime’s targets since October 2023.
The operations have sought to render support for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, who have come under a genocidal Zionist regime’s war since October 7 that year.
Saree asserted that the strikes would continue as long as Tel Aviv sustained the war on Gaza and an escalated deadly siege that it has been enforcing simultaneously on the coastal sliver.
He, meanwhile, called on the world’s Arab and Muslim nations to stop remaining silent in the face of the genocide.
“If the criminal enemy succeeds in carrying out its plan in Gaza, your turn will come — sooner or later,” the official asserted.
“If you do not rise for your religion, then rise for your Arab identity, if not for that, then rise for your humanity.”
