Hamas calls for escalating all forms of resistance in W. Bank
Senior Hamas official Mahmoud Mardawi said that “the repeated settler crimes against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank — carried out under the direct protection of the military — confirm the true nature of the criminal Israeli entity, which knows nothing but killing and destruction.”
In a statement on Saturday, Mardawi called on the Palestinians in the West Bank to escalate all forms of resistance to repel settler attacks and activate protection committees in their villages and towns.
The Hamas official condemned the Palestinian Authority leadership for its shameful passivity towards the suffering of its people in the West Bank and its involvement in security cooperation with the Zionist regime’s occupation.
Two Palestinian citizens were martyred and others were injured when a horde of armed Zionist settlers attacked Sinjil town in northern Ramallah on Friday evening.
