Three citizens martyred in Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon

Three Lebanese citizens were martyred and others injured on Saturday following two Zionist regime’s airstrikes on two towns in southern Lebanon, marking another ceasefire violation.

Lebanese media sources reported that an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle in the town of Kounin in southern Lebanon, resulting in the death of one citizen and injuring another.

Later, the Lebanese health ministry announced the martyrdom of two citizens, including a woman, following an Israeli airstrike on a motorcycle in the town of Mahrouna in the Tyre district.

The woman happened to be passing by at the time the strike took place. Another citizen also suffered injuries in the same location.

The Israeli occupation forces continue to target towns, cars and motorcycles in different areas of southern Lebanon despite a ceasefire agreement that started on November 27, 2025.

Under the agreement, Israel was to withdraw all its forces from southern Lebanon, but despite the deal, these forces have remained at five Lebanese border positions.
