UNRWA says its flour supplies ran out in Gaza

UNRWA has affirmed that its flour supplies in Gaza have already run out as Israel continues to ban the entry of food and humanitarian aid.

“Hunger is getting worse in Gaza. People, including many children, are hoping to get some food to survive through the warm meals distributed by charities,” UNRWA said on social media platform X on Sunday.

“About 3,000 of our trucks loaded with life-saving aid are ready to enter Gaza,” UNRWA added, reiterating its call for lifting the blockade on the war-torn coastal enclave to allow the delivery of urgent assistance to over two million Palestinians.

The Israeli occupation regime has blocked the entry of all humanitarian aid into Gaza since March 2, 2025. It then completely ended a two-month ceasefire with the Palestinian resistance in Gaza on March 18 and resumed its deadly air and ground assaults on the enclave.

On Friday, the UN World Food Program also said it had run out of food stocks in Gaza, as border crossings remain closed.
