UNRWA: Half a million newly displaced in Gaza over the past month

The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced on Friday that around half a million people have been displaced again in the Gaza Strip over the past month, due to multiple evacuation orders issued by Israeli occupation forces.
“The multiple displacement orders issued by the Israeli military leave Palestinians with less than a third of Gaza’s area to live in,” the agency said, warning “that remaining space is fragmented, unsafe, and barely livable.”
The agency added that overcrowded shelters are in dire conditions, while service providers are struggling to operate amid the almost complete depletion of available resources.
Since March 18, the Zionist regime’s occupation army has continued its war of genocide against the Gaza Strip, after violating the ceasefire agreement by committing bloody massacres against civilians, leaving thousands of martyrs and wounded, and tightening its suffocating siege on the Strip.
