Pakistan Won’t Recognise Israel Until Palestine Is Freed: PM Imran

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has said Pakistan can never accept the state of Israel until the Palestinian people get their rights and a separate state.
In an interview with a private news channel, the PM said: “Our stance is very clear from day one and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had said Pakistan can never accept Israel until the people of Palestine get rights and state.”
According to the premier, the case of Palestinians was similar to the people of Kashmir, who have been living under illegal Indian occupation.
During the interview, he also commented on ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He said the reports regarding the deterioration of relations between the two countries were ‘baseless’. “Saudi Arabia is Pakistan’s key ally,” he added.
He said every country makes decision according to its own foreign policy and national interest. “Our role is to unite the entire Muslim world which is a very challenging task and we will do our best.”
