Lieberman admits Israel unable to defeat Hamas

The Zionist regime's Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, who has traveled to Italy, confessed on Monday to the regime's disability in defeating the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas.

He made the remarks in his joint press conference with Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini.

In response to a Zionist reporter's question about Lieberman's elections slogan regarding "Our first goal is clear, to destroy Hamas, to take it down", he confessed implicitly to the regime's disability in destroying Hamas and said," I have never given such a promise."

At the other part of his remarks, Lieberman reaffirmed opposition of the Zionist regime with establishment of an independent Palestinian government.

Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini, for his part, emphasized on the important role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in establishing stability in the region especially Afghanistan.
