Eight Palestinians martyred in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza Strip despite ceasefire roadmap

At least eight Palestinians have been martyred and several others wounded in Zionist regime's attacks across the Gaza Strip, medical sources said, as Zionist regime continues to violate the ceasefire agreement.

The official Palestinian news agency WAFA, citing medical sources, reported that one Palestinian was martyred and several others sustained injuries on Saturday evening when an Israeli drone struck the al-Sabra neighborhood south of Gaza City.

Separately, two Palestinians were martyred after an Israeli drone struck the roof of a house on al-Aqsa Street in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood southwest of Gaza City.

Earlier on Saturday, one Palestinian was martyred, and two others were injured in an Israeli drone strike targeting a group of civilians in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

The casualties were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital following the strike, WAFA reported.

Moreover, two Palestinians were martyred and several others injured on Saturday after a Zionist regime's drone targeted a group of civilians in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood northwest of Gaza City.

The assaults occurred just one day after US President Donald Trump and the so-called Board of Peace announced an agreement to initiate the next phase of the Gaza ceasefire.

The board said the Hamas resistance movement had consented to a comprehensive roadmap, whereas Israel did not provide an immediate response.

Hamas has stated that it will give up its weapons for safekeeping only after Israel ceases its military offensives and withdraws its troops, in accordance with the agreement made last year.

Zionist regime's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has refrained from making any public statements regarding the initiative. However, the so-called security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, has deemed it unacceptable and asserted that the Tel Aviv regime should continue targeting Hamas leaders.

Despite the ceasefire that took effect on October 10, 2025, the Zionist regime's army has continued its daily attacks in Gaza, killing 1,222 Palestinians and injuring 4,053 others, according to figures from Gaza’s Health Ministry.

Since Zionist regime launched its genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023, it has martyred more than 73,000 Palestinians and injured over 174,000. The war has also caused widespread destruction affecting 90% of civilian infrastructure, with reconstruction costs estimated by the UN at around $70 billion.
