360 health infrastructures and 46 ambulances damaged: Official
The head of Iran’s Emergency Organization has reported 360 cases of damage to health sector infrastructure and 46 ambulances in the US-Israeli attacks.
The number of under-18 injured people, during the US-Israeli war of aggression against Iran, has reached approximately 1,900, of whom 121 are under 5 years old, Jafar Miadfar said.
Additionally, about 4,695 of the wounded are women, the youngest being one month old and the oldest 100 years old, he added.
He noted that 216 of the martyrs have been under 18 years old, a significant portion of whom are students, adding that 17 of the recorded martyrs were under 5 years old, he stated.
The number of female martyrs has reached 261, the youngest being a newborn of just a few days, Miadfar said.
Among healthcare workers, 24 have been martyred and 116 injured. Of these, 77 were personnel of the 115 Emergency Service, and three of emergency staff were martyred while on duty.
Out of a total of 180,000 missions carried out, about 130,000 cases were related to patients with various physical ailments, and about 50,000 cases were related to traffic accidents, he noted.
During this period, more than 151,000 surgeries have been performed in the country’s hospitals, of which over 55,000 were emergency surgeries and nearly 100,000 were non-emergency, Miadfar said.
