Speaker: Attack on Iranian energy infrastructure amounts to suicide for enemies
Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf says the US-Israeli attacks on Iran’s energy infrastructure amount to suicide for the two regimes, promising retaliation.
In a post on X Wednesday night, Ghalibaf said that the United States and Israel are frustrated with the Iranian people, because they have thwarted all the enemy’s plans.
By attacking Iranian infrastructure, the US and Israel are trying to conceal their defeats on the battle field, he further said in his post.
However, the attacks on Iranian infrastructure “amount to suicide for them. The equation of an eye for an eye is in effect, and a new level of confrontation has begun,” he added.
Earlier on Wednesday, US-Israeli airstrikes hit parts of South Pars Gas Field in southern Iran on the 19th day of the ongoing war of aggression launched by the two regimes against the country. Iran has promised retaliation.
