Hamas calls for enabling NCAG to carry out its duties in Gaza
The Hamas Movement has called on international and regional parties to pressure the Zionist occupation regime to allow the independent “National Committee for the Administration of Gaza” (NCAG) to enter the Strip and assume its responsibilities.
In a statement on Saturday, Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem affirmed that his Movement had completed all the necessary procedures and arrangements to hand over authority and governance across all sectors in the Gaza Strip to the NCAG.
Spokesman Qasem said that a committee comprised of representatives from Palestinian factions, noted families, civil society, and international parties would oversee the handover process and make sure that it would happen fully, transparently and in an organized manner.
The spokesman highlighted that the international community, mediators, and the US administration had failed to secure the entry of the committee to Gaza, stressing that this failure undermines trust in any talks aimed at achieving peace or forming future boards.
