Zionist regime’s attacks martyr 3 Lebanese in Lebanon as ceasefire violations mount

Zionist regime’s drone attacks across southern and eastern Lebanon have martyred at least three people, as the regime pressed on with strikes, ground incursions, and airspace violations in an open defiance of UN resolutions and Lebanon’s sovereignty.

On Thursday, a Zionist regime’s drone struck a pickup truck on the road between Majdal Selm and Safad al-Batikh in south Lebanon, killing one person.

Earlier the same day, two others were also martyred when another Zionist regime’s drone hit a vehicle near Hosh al-Sayed Ali in the Bekaa region, al-Mayadeen television reported.

Zionist regime’s forces also targeted journalists, opening fire on an Al Mayadeen media team while they were reporting from al-Dhayrah in south Lebanon, the report added.

In separate incidents, Israeli aircraft dropped bombs over the town of Houla, damaging an excavator and several vehicles, while Israeli troops carried out a ground incursion into Kfar Kila and demolished a building there.

These assaults are part of a broader pattern of Zionist regime’s aggression in blatant breach of the ceasefire announced on November 27 last year, UN Security Council Resolution 1701, and Lebanon’s territorial integrity.

On December 24, Zionist regime’s warplanes struck the Tebna area in the Saida district and carried out multiple airstrikes in Wadi Houmine and across Iqlim al-Tuffah, where at least six separate strikes were recorded.

Following these attacks, Israeli drones and aircraft continued to fly over areas north of the Litani River, with hostile drones also spotted over Nabi Sheet.

The escalation followed days of intensified low-altitude reconnaissance flights over Houmine al-Tahta and the Zahrani region.

Earlier attacks included a December 22 airstrike in the Saida district that killed three people, among them a Lebanese Army soldier, as well as deadly drone strikes on Yater, al-Taybeh, and Blida.

According to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), Zionist regime has committed more than 7,500 airspace violations and nearly 2,500 land breaches since the ceasefire began.
