UNRWA: One million women and girls suffer starvation and dangers

“Women and girls are forced to adopt increasingly dangerous survival strategies like venturing out in search of food and water at the extreme risk of being killed,” UNRWA said in social media remarks on Saturday.

UNRWA called for the blockade on the Gaza Strip to be lifted and for humanitarian aid to be allowed in on a large scale, affirming that “hunger is spreading fast in Gaza.”
