Qodsna (Tehran) - On the occasion of the martyrdom of Fathi Shaqaqi, the former co-founder and Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, the Zionist regime’s affairs expert, Alyan El Hindi said: “I believe Fathi Shaqaqi had an important and unique role in forming the Islamic resistance in the Middle East as well as introducing the spirit of Islamic jihad against the Occupiers. He was able to achieve significant victories against Israel, and the history of Palestine never forgets them.”<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Talking about the viewpoint of Fathi Shaqaqi towards Palestine, El Hindi noted that Palestine was the main principle of Islamic issues for Fathi Shaqaqi.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

“Fathi Shaqaqi believed that we must rely on three principles to ensure our victory and success. We should not separate Palestine from Islam, we should not separate the Islam from Palestine, and these two would not be achievable without jihad and martyrdom,” he added.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

El Hindi went on to say that Fathi Shaqaqi urged all the Muslim communities across Islamic and Arab countries to place the Palestinian cause at the center of their attention.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The Zionist regime’s affairs expert referred to the recent “betrayal” normalization deals between Arab states and the Zionist regime, stressing that “before the public announcements, some Arab rulers like in Bahrain and the UAE had strong covert relations with Israel. There have been security cooperations between Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Manama, and Tel Aviv for many years. So we are not surprised by these deals.”<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The policies of Arab states towards Israel are completely different from the wills of their nations, he added. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

“If Fathi Shaqaqi was still alive, he would advise us to fight against the occupation of Palestine as well as the wave of normalization deals of Arab rulers. He was inspired by Imam Khomeini and he knew revolutionary resistance very well,” Alyan El Hindi said.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Fathi Shaqaqi (1951 –1995) was the co-founder and Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine. He was assassinated in Malta by Mossad agents, on October 26, 1995.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Shortly after the Iranian Revolution, Shaqaqi wrote a book, "Imam Khomeini, The Islamic Solution and the Alternative", which praised Ayatollah Khomeini and his approach to an Islamic state.
