America Urged Not to Interfere in Any Internal Affair

Member of Lebanese Maronite church urged America not to interfere in any internal affair of Arabs and Islamic countries

Member of the Lebanese Maronite church Antoan Zou described the international Qods conference in Istanbul, Turkey as a large gathering, adding that the mass presence of all Christian and Muslim groups in this conference show a large support for the Qods issue.

Antoan made the remarks on the sidelines of the Istanbul Qods conference in an interview with Qodsna correspondent.

"We the participants of this conference call on America not to interfere in any internal affair of Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq or any other Arab or Islamic country," the priest said.

He said the real owner of Qods is the Palestinian nation, adding that the Istanbul Qods conference carries a message of civilization, kindness and friendship.

"We hope that Qods would be freed one day," he hoped.

Asked about the U.S. sponsored 'peace' meeting in Annapolis, the priest said that the Bush conference and his allies never offer a real solution for the Palestinian problems.

"The Annapolis meeting will have no agenda to solve the Arabs problems," he added.
