SDPN secretary-general:

Suffering of Gaza reveals ugly face of Zionist regime, US

Ayatollah Mohammad Hassan Rahimian, Secretary-General of the Iran-based Society for the Defense of Palestinian Nation (SDPN), has said that the suffering of the residents of the Gaza Strip has revealed the ugly face of the Zionist regime and the United States.

According to Qods News Agency (Qodsna), Ayatollah Rahimian addressed the 13th edition of the conference "Gaza; Symbol of Resistance," saying that the atrocities committed by the Zionist regime throughout contemporary history were horrific and unprecedented.

SDPN secretary-general stated: "The resilient people of Gaza, while trapped in a roofless prison, saw tens of thousands of their population martyred. Nevertheless, they stood firm against the most wicked regimes in the world, namely the Zionist regime, the United States, and their allies, resisting until the very last moment and setting a new benchmark in the realm of resistance."

He also noted that during the recent war on Gaza, this criminal regime dropped 90,000 tons of explosives on the oppressed people of Gaza, including one-ton bombs equivalent to four nuclear bombs, adding that the regime destroyed 40 hospitals, 150 schools and educational centers, 70 mosques, and a significant part of Gaza.

Ayatollah Rahimian also said that the US and the Western world provided the Zionist regime with tens of billions of dollars in weapons and financial aid. He noted: "Today, with the suffering of the Palestinian people and the bloodshed of innocent people, the ugly face of the United States and the Zionist regime has become more apparent to the world than ever before."

The secretary-general of the SDPN referred to global disgust towards the Tel Aviv regime and the US, saying: "Today, the slogans 'Death to US and 'Death to Israel' have spread across the world."
