since Israeli aggression on Gaza:

10,600 Palestinians arrested in West Bank

The Zionist regime’s occupation forces (IOF) arrested 10,600 Palestinians across the West Bank since the start of the regime’s aggression on the Gaza Strip last October, rights sources revealed.

A joint statement issued by the Prisoners Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners Society revealed that over the course of Monday night and Tuesday morning, the IOF troops carried out a massive campaign of raids, searches, and arrests throughout the West Bank. 14 Palestinians were detained during the raids, including the mother of a martyr, a girl, a child, and ex-prisoners.

The detainees included those who were arrested in home raids, at military checkpoints, and those who were forced to surrender themselves under threat of their family arrest, in addition to those who were held hostage, those who were kept in detention, and those who were later released.

The figures, however, do not include those who were recently detained from the Gaza Strip.

The number of female prisoners held administratively in Israeli prisons has risen to 24, after three female prisoners from al-Khalil were transferred to administrative detention.

The pace of raids and arrests witnessed by the cities of the occupied West Bank has increased, coinciding with the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7, which has left tens of thousands dead and wounded.
