Canadian author says Palestine harbinger of new world
Eric Walberg, Canadian writer, told the Qods News Agency in an exclusive interview that the Palestinian nation must keep on standing against US-Zionist imperial force.
Tehran, Qodsna – Walberg referred to the rights of the Palestinian people to defend themselves and retake their land, saying, “Palestinians must continue to resist the occupation by any means they can. That is according to international law.”
He also pointed to an alliance among the United States, European countries and the Zionist regime, noting, “By aligning itself with US-Israel, European governments have forfeited any role in this liberation.
On the responsibility of Western people regarding the Palestinian cause, he said, “It is up to the people of western countries to join with world opposition to Israel. There must be a worldwide boycott of Israel, following the example of South Africa.”
Referring to the root cause of the problem in Palestine, the writer mentioned, “Israel was built on a lie, on theft of another people's lands. But the age of imperialism is finished. US-Israel is the last imperial force, built on war and exploitation. This is the great historical project of the 21st century.”
