Zionist settlers wreaking havoc with impunity
The Zionist regime’s settlers entered a Palestinian village in the occupied West Bank, where they proceeded to shoot and set houses and cars ablaze.
Tehran, Qodsna - Palestinian health officials reported that the Zionist settlers’ attack resulted in the martrdom of one Palestinian man and left 25 others wounded.
This violent incident is the most recent in a series of escalations in the West Bank, coinciding with the conflict in the Gaza Strip.
The fatal confrontation occurred following a military operation that resulted in the deaths of two Palestinians, including a member of Hamas, during a clash with Zionist forces. Palestinian health officials have stated that over 460 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank since the outbreak of the conflict in October.
According to the Zionist human rights group Yesh Din, the settlers forcibly entered the village of al-Mughayyir late on Friday. The group reported that the settlers engaged in gunfire and arson within the village.
Videos shared by the rights group depicted dark plumes of smoke rising from burning vehicles amid the sound of gunshots. Additionally, a photo released by the group showed what appeared to be a group of masked settlers.
Meanwhile, six months of fighting in Gaza have pushed the tiny Palestinian territory into a humanitarian crisis, leaving more than 1 million people at risk of starvation.
Israeli bombardments and ground offensives in Gaza have killed more than 33,600 Palestinians and wounded more than 76,200, the health ministry said.
