Haneyya calls for halting aggression on Gaza, accelerating relief
The head of Hamas’s political bureau, Ismail Haneyya, sent a message to the leaders, figurers, and scholars of the Muslim nation on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, calling on them to take effective action at various political, diplomatic, and legal levels in order to halt the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, especially in Gaza, and to protect the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Haneyya stressed the need to put pressure on those who support Israel to oblige it to enforce an immediate and unconditional ceasefire.
The Hamas leader demanded accelerating the humanitarian relief process through urgent entry of aid convoys of food and medicine, in addition to the provision of shelter, opening the crossings permanently, lifting the siege, and commencing a comprehensive reconstruction process.
Haneyya called for exerting more efforts to prosecute Zionist regime, expose its crimes, and isolate it politically and diplomatically as a price for its genocidal massacres and war crimes committed in Gaza.
He asserted that all of Zionist regime’s crimes will not deter the Palestinian people from continuing resistance until they regain their right to freedom, return, and independence in a sovereign state of Palestine with Al-Quds as its capital.
