Hamas calls for immediate halt to the war on Gaza

The Hamas Movement has urged Arab and Islamic countries and the United Nations to pressure Zionist regime to end its aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Hamas official Osama Hamdan called, in a press conference held in Beirut on Tuesday, on the Arab countries to end any normalization of relations with Zionist regime.

The official also called for humanitarian aid crossings to be opened, allowing food, fuel, aid, and rubble removal equipment into Gaza and at the same time allowing the exit of the wounded for treatment.

Hamdan further advocated the boycott of goods produced by companies supporting the Israeli aggression on women and children in Gaza.

The Gaza Health Ministry earlier declared that the healthcare system at hospitals in the Gaza Strip has totally collapsed due to the ongoing Israeli aggression.

“Hospitals in Gaza have totally collapsed due to the Israeli war,” ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said in a press conference.

“Twelve hospitals and 32 healthcare centers were forced out of service,” al-Qudra said. “We are afraid that many more will stop operations in the coming hours due to a lack of fuel.”

He said 65 medics have been martyred and 25 ambulances have been destroyed in Israeli strikes since Oct. 7.

According to the spokesman, Gaza’s death toll from the ongoing Israeli airstrikes climbed to 5,791 people.
