Hamas calls for intensive Muslim presence at Aqsa Mosque

In a statement on Thursday, Hamas stressed the importance of gathering in the Aqsa Mosque compound to emphasize its Islamic identity and protect it against desecration and Judaization.

The Movement said that the settler violations that prevailed during the Jewish holidays and the Israeli attempts to control the Aqsa Mosque would be doomed to failure, adding that the Palestinian people and their resistance would remain a protective shield for Al-Quds and the Aqsa Mosque.

Al-Quds religious figures also called on their Palestinian compatriots to intensify their presence at the Aqsa Mosque and perform the Friday prayer in its buildings and courtyards.
