Administrative detainees to go on hunger strike in support of Fasfous

The National Captive Movement has announced that the Palestinian administrative detainees in Zionist regime’s jails will go on a one-day hunger strike in support of prisoner Kayed al-Fasfous.

In a press statement on Tuesday, the Movement said that administrative detainees will go on a massive hunger strike for one day on Wednesday, holding the Israeli prison service responsible for the life of prisoner al-Fasfous.

The Movement affirmed that the Palestinian prisoners will not stand idle, adding that they will support prisoner Fasfous until his demands are achieved.

Al-Fasfous’s health deteriorated as he continued his hunger strike for the 62nd day today in protest at his administrative detention.

Earlier on Monday, the Israeli Supreme Court decided to refer the petition filed by the lawyer of prisoner al-Fasfous to the Military Court of Appeals, according to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS).

The PPS underlined that the Military Court of Appeals had earlier rejected the appeal filed by Fasfous's lawyer against the decision to continue his administrative detention.

Al-Fasfous, 34, from Dura village south of al-Khalil city, is an ex-prisoner who spent seven years in the Israeli prisons.
